"Waa waaa, wa waa. Waaa waa."
Mom's mouth is moving, but I have no idea what she's saying.
You know what that's like? There's no connection, no actual communication. It's like the adult in old Charlie Brown films, for those of us old enough to remember them.
Sometimes I'm the one "Waa waaa-ing," and the person looking at me is blank-eyed. It's like I'm talking to a wall.
Can your mental 'inner ear' still hear an old conversation like this?
Years ago, I had a knock down, drag out fight with my mom. Sobbing, I drove away down the highway. Then I made sense of what happened with Human Design, and the flood of tears dried.
I get fewer blank stares today, because I understand communication better. Tools like Human Design provide strategies that make an almost magical, flip-a-light-switch difference.
