What is Required for Real Healing?

Do you have traumas or injuries that still limit you decades later?

Far too frequently, healing from wounds and trauma is incomplete. The injuries can be physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and energetic.

For true healing to occur, perhaps all of these bodies need to be addressed.

What Are “You”?

When thinking about Who and What “You” are, it’s difficult coming up with a clear and obvious answer.Put your hands on Where you think “You” are located.πŸŽΆπŸŽ΅πŸŒŸπŸ’žπŸŽΆDid you place your hands over your heart? That’s what a lot of people do.Did you place them on your head, where your brain is?Are “You” your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, values, …What about your energy body?And then there’s your spiritual self, …

Add to this complex mix is what I call the Spark of Life. When your existence began, there was some miraculous event, or energy, or influence that transformed a pile of energy and physical elements into life, into You.

Experience Your Multi-Bodies Together

Really, all of these aspects contribute to the composite of who “You” are. None of them can be excluded.

When any one of these aspects is injured, all of the others are impacted.

πŸ€• Imagine that your physical body fell off a roof and the impact of landing broke your leg. Your mental and emotional states, and how you feel about yourself (therefore spirit and soul) would be affected.

😟 What if your father said in a nasty sneering voice, “You’re worthless and will never amount to anything.” You would feel emotionally and spiritually crushed. And the pressure of this experience would weigh on you physically.

For the rest of your life, both events would be accessible through your memories. Thinking about them would recall emotions and beliefs. Residuals would remain in your physical body. And the experiences would remain stored in your energy field.

You have multiple ‘bodies’ existing within your physical form and the space around you. Think of them as your physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic bodies.

When you look at the image above, you see the brain in the center, controlling all of the bodies.

For several months, I’ve been layering in elements of my multiple bodies theory. Talking about how your experiences record physically, energetically, and in your body’s water. And the brain is Control Central for all of it.

This week’s post is the culmination, bringing all of the pieces together.

Be Aware & “Experience Your Bodies Together”

Would you like to have a conscious awareness of each of these ‘bodies’?

I’m not saying you necessarily want to be in this conscious awareness all of the time. I certainly don’t want this quantity of sensory information consciously intruding on me.

But let’s see if you can awaken some conscious awareness of these ‘bodies’ once. Then this level of awareness can be available to you whenever you choose.

What you intend with your mind is incredibly powerful.

You can choose to intend that you perceive these things.

Sensory Modes & Sensitivity Levels

Some people readily have conscious awareness of these things. And some will not.My husband pays no attention to this energetic stuff, and he’s completely fine with that.

You may be visual (sight oriented), auditory (hearing oriented), or kinesthetic (body, feeling, experience oriented). Most people are a combination, with some sensory modes being stronger than others.

Then there are ‘intuitive’ modes of perception, where information is received in more subtle, often more purely energetic ways.

Wherever you are, it’s okay.

Some of my intuitive senses are finely tuned, and others are not. For example, much as I would love to see aura colors, I just don’t. For me, I feel the aura kinesthetically (body sensation), emotionally, and I just have a knowing sense that it’s there.

Have an Experience of Your Bodies Together ~ Experiment

Okay. Let’s begin.Pick a relatively recent, minor physical injury to recall.

Here’s mine. Last year I stubbed my little toe and broke it. It recovered without medical care.

After the instructions, I will describe how I experience this awareness exercise.

Here are Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, and Energetic ways to pay attention to this experience.
  • Feel it in your physical body at the injury location.
  • Notice any thoughts about the experience. You remember it, so it’s in your memories.
  • Do emotions come up?
  • Do spiritual meanings come to mind?
  • Is there a place in the space around your body where it feels like there may be a ball or area of stuck or chaotic energy associated with this injury?
  • What is your brain doing?

Experience My Bodies Together

Physical. When I think about the toe injury, immediately my awareness goes to that toe. And I feel the joints and the bone that were injured. I’ve activated awareness and energy within the whole foot and ankle. There’s a tiny bit of residual sensitivity, which I do not normally feel.

Mental and Emotional, Memories. I think about what happened and the circumstances. And I feel the emotions, so anger at myself for not watching where I was going.

Spiritual. I don’t hold judgments about myself. I learned a lesson about paying attention and being careful.

Energy body, the Biofield. I sense that there’s an orb of energy a couple of inches from that toe.

Brain. The front of my brain is very activated. It’s thinking. The sides of my brain are activated with this body awareness. When I ask myself where it’s activated regarding the memories, my awareness goes to the deep brain centers that are involved in recording emotional experiences. And there’s energy movement from one place to another.

This is fascinating. As I write, I’m doing this experiment for the first time. πŸ€“

A Positive Experience

I did this again with a more positive experience that occurred longer ago. It was present in each of the bodies, though quite different. And the energy was farther from my physical body in the biofield.

Here are simple self care approaches that you may not have seen. Please know that it’s still possible that you may experience no changes.

Release Stress from Your Multi-Bodies

When something isn’t going the way you intend, be aware that it could impact all of your bodies. Physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and energetic.

Pay conscious attention to this, and think about allowing the stress to release from all of them.

You may not be aware of this until the events involved have already passed. When you do have the awareness, see if you can allow any stuck or blocked energy to flow.
